Baznas Bazis DKI provides aid to NTT earthquake victims

Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta has launched a humanitarian response to assist earthquake victims in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Through the ‘Dapur Kemanusiaan’ program, the organization, in collaboration with King Abdi and Chef Nusantara, prepared 10,000 ready-to-eat meals for affected communities.

The relief efforts, conducted on September 2–3, 2026, focused on the Pota Village in Sambi Rampas District and the Golocconggo Post in Ruis Village, Reok District. In addition to food, the initiative provided free medical services led by Dr. Ardi Santoso to assist residents in post-disaster conditions.

To address basic survival needs, Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta also distributed clean water, blankets, instant food, and essential supplies for mothers and children. Benyamin, a leader at Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta, stated that the response aims to be comprehensive, covering food, water, health, and other fundamental necessities. The operation involved various collaborators, including BNPB, PT Pertamina, and PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia.
