BBC announces Strictly Come Dancing 2026 lineup with new hosts
The BBC has revealed details of the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Actress Lacey Turner, known for her role in EastEnders, and reality‑TV star Dani Dyer have been confirmed as the first two celebrity contestants. The show will also feature a new presenting team after long‑time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman departed: Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe and professional dancer Johannes Radebe will take over presentation duties. All four judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas – are set to return. The series is expected to begin in September 2026 with around 15 celebrities taking part, and several professional dancers from the previous year will also return, while a few have left the show. Further announcements about the full cast are planned throughout the summer.
