In July 2026, the BBC confirmed the celebrity roster for the 24th series of Strictly Come Dancing, naming Lacey Turner, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, Cach Mercer, Will Best, Dani Dyer, Dame Sarah Storey, and Jaime Winstone. Former professional Brendan Cole publicly criticized the new presenting lineup, suggesting Anton du Beke would have been a more appropriate choice.

Additional celebrity additions include House of the Dragon actress Bethany Antonia, actress Melanie Walters, and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips. The finalized 15-person lineup includes Dani Dyer, who returns after being forced to withdraw from the 2025 series due to an ankle injury. Executive producer Eve Winstanley exited after a decade, and the companion show It Takes Two moved to a vodcast format hosted by Ellie Taylor. The refreshed series is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, September 19, 2026, on BBC One and iPlayer.
