B.C. Conservatives drop Vancouver candidate over alleged Hitler posts

The B.C. Conservative Party has removed Jordan McIntosh, the candidate for Vancouver-Strathcona, from its slate. The decision followed accusations from NDP candidate Callista Ryan regarding McIntosh’s online activity.

Ryan provided screenshots suggesting that McIntosh used an anonymous account named ‘DeathNight’ to post comments about Hitler and the Holocaust. The posts allegedly claimed that Hitler did not specifically hate Jews and that many died simply because of their large population in Europe. The Conservative Party stated that McIntosh is no longer a candidate and would not sit in caucus if elected.

This marks the second candidate removed from the party’s slate due to controversial online activity. On October 8, Victoria-Beacon Hill candidate Joachim Agou was removed after posts surfaced supporting a driver involved in a 2025 incident in Switzerland.
