B.C. Lions defeat Calgary Stampeders 30-26 for third straight win

The B.C. Lions secured their third consecutive victory with a 30-26 win over the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium. The win moves the Lions to a 4-5 record, allowing them to leapfrog Calgary and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for third place in the CFL West Division.

Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke led the offense with 301 passing yards, two touchdown passes to Keon Hatcher, and a rushing touchdown. Running back Zander Horvath contributed 102 rushing yards and a touchdown. Despite late fourth-quarter turnovers, including an interception by Rourke, the Lions secured the win when T.J. Lee intercepted Calgary's Josh Love late in the game.

Calgary's offense struggled following an injury to quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. in the fourth quarter. Backup Josh Love entered the game but was unable to overcome the deficit. Kicker Jude McAtamney provided much of Calgary's scoring with four field goals, but a missed 39-yard attempt in the final minutes proved costly.
