B.C. Lions defeat Hamilton Tiger-Cats 27-24

The B.C. Lions secured a 27-24 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at BC Place, driven by the return of quarterback Nathan Rourke. Rourke, returning from a shoulder injury, threw for 370 yards and two touchdowns, including an 82-yard strike to Justin McInnis.

Zander Horvath contributed two touchdowns for the Lions, including a receiving score and a one-yard rushing touchdown. Kicker Sean Whyte sealed the win with a 24-yard field goal with only 28 seconds remaining in the game.

The Tiger-Cats, led by quarterback Harrison Frost in his first CFL start, kept the contest close. Frost completed 20 of 33 passes for 239 yards and a touchdown to Kurleigh Gittens Jr. Hamilton's Jake Dolegala also added two short-yardage rushing touchdowns. Despite a 47-yard field goal by Marc Liegghio that gave Hamilton a halftime lead, the Lions reclaimed momentum in the second half to earn their first home win of the season.
