Bcc di Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate expands cancer prevention campaign

Ccr Insieme Ets, the community mutual aid association for members of Bcc di Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate, has launched a broadened health prevention campaign titled ‘Ottobre non solo rosa’ (October Not Just Pink).

Formerly focused primarily on breast cancer prevention for women, the initiative has expanded to include screenings and medical visits for men, covering skin and colorectal cancer as well. The campaign runs from September 25 to November 25 and consists of 19 scheduled appointments, including walks, meetings, and medical checks.

Activities will take place in Busto Garolfo, Buguggiate, Dairago, Arluno, and Legnano, with mobile units also visiting Bcc branches. Roberto Scazzosi, president of Bcc di Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate, stated that the goal is to provide concrete opportunities for health checks within the community and make prevention more accessible.
