Cancer prevention and awareness campaigns in Italy

In the Busto Garolfo and Buguggiate regions, the community mutual aid association Ccr Insieme Ets launched the ‘Ottobre non solo rosa’ (October Not Just Pink) campaign. Further events are scheduled for October 18, 2026. In Roccabernarda, the ‘Unite against breast cancer’ event will feature a health walk and a seminar titled ‘Primary and secondary prevention of breast cancer,’ covering medical, nutritional, and psychological perspectives. Meanwhile, in Grosseto, the ‘Obesity: the cure in walking’ initiative will mark Obesity Day with a walk along the Medici Walls to promote physical activity and social cohesion.
