BCCI hikes title sponsorship price and launches new tender process

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased the reserve price for its title sponsorship rights by more than 15%, setting a base price of Rs 4.9 crore per match, up from Rs 4.2 crore. The base price for associate‑partner rights has also risen from Rs 82 lakh to Rs 95 lakh per match.

BCCI invited bids for the title sponsor rights, with the submission deadline of 13 August, and for associate‑partner rights, due by 25 August. Interested parties must purchase the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document for a non‑refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh (plus GST) and can submit clarification queries until 5 August. The current title sponsor, IDFC First Bank, holds the rights until August 2026. The new sponsorship cycle will run until March 2028 and will cover around 35 international matches and several domestic tournaments.

The board emphasized that purchase of the ITT does not guarantee participation and reserved the right to cancel or amend the process at any stage.
