BCR card payments for vignettes and TollRo suspended for maintenance

Clients of Banca Comercială Română (BCR) will be unable to use their cards to pay for road vignettes and TollRo fees for a period of 4 hours and 15 minutes during the night of October 23 to October 24, 2026.

According to CNAIR, the interruption is due to a mandatory update required by Visa and Mastercard. The downtime is scheduled from 23:45 on October 23 until 04:00 on October 24. During this window, BCR cardholders cannot make payments via the portal.etoll.ro or through CNAIR mobile applications.

Payments made with cards issued by other banks will not be affected and will function normally. CNAIR advises users that vignettes can be purchased up to 30 days in advance, and route tickets can be bought up to 24 hours before travel. Alternative payment methods at authorized distributors also remain available.
