BEAMS and Birkenstock announce 50th anniversary collaboration

BEAMS and Birkenstock are releasing a special collaboration model, the ‘BOSTON PATCH WORK’, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the brands and the iconic Boston clog model, which first launched in 1976.

The footwear features an asymmetrical patchwork design using three different colors of suede leather: taupe, mink, and mocha. The design aims to blend artisanal craftsmanship with the playful aesthetic characteristic of BEAMS. Additional details include insoles engraved with both the Birkenstock and BEAMS logos, and special packaging in BEAMS’ signature orange color.

The collection will be available starting September 12, 2026, at select BEAMS and BEAMS BOY stores, as well as through official online channels. Sizes range from 35 to 46, with smaller sizes (35–38) specifically handled by the BEAMS BOY label. The retail price is set at 36,300 yen.
