Beats launches Beats 360 sweat-resistant headphones
Beats has officially released the Beats 360, a new line of Bluetooth over-ear headphones designed for both commuting and athletic use. The device features an IPX4 rating for sweat resistance and includes specialized shielding behind the drivers to protect internal components from moisture.
A key design element is the modularity of the headphones; the ear cushions and headband padding can be easily removed and replaced, allowing users to customize colors or replace worn components to extend the product's lifespan.
Technical specifications include 40mm drivers, spatial audio with head-tracking capabilities, and an adaptive audio system that adjusts output based on the wearer. For noise management, the headphones utilize eight of nine microphones for noise cancellation, which the company claims is 1.75 times more effective than the Studio Pro model. The headphones are now available in Apple Stores.
