Beşiktaş and Sporting officials address transfer rumors and match results

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı has dismissed rumors regarding the potential transfer of Gedson Fernandes back to the club. Addressing speculation that both Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor are interested in the Portuguese player, Adalı stated that Fernandes is not on the club's agenda and suggested that such rumors are being used to inflate his market value.

Adalı emphasized that Beşiktaş is focused on winning the championship and has no plans to sell players during the season. He noted that the technical staff is satisfied with the current defensive squad, though they are looking for midfield reinforcements to support Salih and Orkun.

Separately, Sporting CP President Frederico Varandas commented on his team's victory over Galatasaray. Speaking at the Portugal Football Summit, Varandas highlighted the economic strength of Galatasaray, noting their ability to transfer players from major clubs like Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
