Beşiktaş club financial and transfer developments

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı has addressed both player transfer speculation and the club’s financial standing. Initially, Adalı dismissed rumors regarding the potential transfer of Gedson Fernandes, suggesting that interest from Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor was being used to “inflate his market value.” He maintained that the club’s priority is winning the championship and that the technical staff is satisfied with the current defensive squad while seeking midfield reinforcements.

Subsequently, Adalı provided details on the club’s financial recovery, noting that bank debt has been reduced from approximately 130 million euros to between 52 and 53 million euros. He also reported that the team’s valuation has increased from 140 million euros to between 260 and 270 million euros.

Regarding future squad improvements, Adalı confirmed that the club is working to sign Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock, a target requested by manager Vincenzo Italiano. The club aims to finalize a move during the January transfer window, leveraging the player’s contract situation.
