Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı details debt reduction and transfer plans

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı has detailed the club's financial improvements and upcoming transfer targets ahead of the club's extraordinary general assembly on October 4. Adalı reported that bank debt has been significantly reduced from approximately 130 million euros to between 52 and 53 million euros, while annual interest payments dropped from 50 million euros to roughly 5-6 million euros.

Regarding squad value, Adalı noted that the team's valuation has risen from 140 million euros to between 260 and 270 million euros during his tenure. He also emphasized the club's improved ability to meet payroll obligations on time.

On the transfer front, Adalı confirmed efforts to sign Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock, a player requested by manager Vincenzo Italiano. Adalı stated that the club has been working closely with the player and his family to facilitate a move, with the goal of finalizing a signature during the January transfer window. He noted that while Newcastle previously requested 20 million pounds, the player's contract situation provides a strategic opportunity for the club.
