Gaza death toll surpasses 74,000 as Israel-Hamas war continues
The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 74,000 as the Israel-Hamas war approaches its third year, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The ministry reports that 175,068 people have been wounded in the conflict.
While a US-brokered ceasefire has been in effect since October 10 of last year, the situation remains largely stalled. Israeli military strikes have continued, which the IDF describes as responses to specific threats or attacks.
