In the Brazilian telenovela ‘Por Você’, the character Pérola (Renata Sorrah) has decided to temporarily step down from her presidency at Hospital & Maternidade Luz to focus on medical treatment. To ensure the institution's continuity and legacy, Pérola has unexpectedly appointed Bela (Sheron Menezzes) as the interim president. This decision comes after Pérola discovered that Vanessa (Alinne Moraes) was attempting to seize control of the hospital without authorization.

Bela has accepted the responsibility, despite the tension caused by Vanessa, who considers herself the natural successor. To support the new leadership, Gabriel (Thiago Lacerda) will expand his role to include Director of Compliance and Governance alongside his legal duties.
