Belford Roxo opens Centro de Qualidade de Vida health complex

The Centro de Qualidade de Vida (CQV) has officially begun operations in the Andrade Araújo neighborhood of Belford Roxo. Inaugurated by Mayor Mariana Canella, the complex is described as a pioneering initiative in Brazil designed to provide integrated health and wellness services.

The facility includes a Policlínica de Saúde Corporal, a Municipal Public Gym, and a Multi-sport Gymnasium. A primary focus of the center is the innovative treatment and control of obesity through a multidisciplinary approach involving medical teams, medication, and physical activity.

The municipal gym offers free access to modern weightlifting and cardiovascular equipment under the supervision of physical education instructors. It operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 22:00, and Saturdays from 7:00 to 12:00. Residents wishing to enroll must provide identification, CPF, proof of residence, and a physical fitness certificate.
