Belgian police seize 208 kg cocaine, arrest seven suspects
Investigators from the Federal Judicial Police uncovered 208 kg of cocaine in a warehouse on Oostmalsesteenweg in Ranst, Belgium. The find prompted simultaneous house searches in Berchem, Deurne, Sint‑Niklaas, Stabroek and Heist‑op‑den‑Berg, during which three men were arrested. In total, six suspects – one Belgian and five Dutch nationals – were detained.
Authorities also seized three pistols, a scanner, nitrous‑oxide canisters and several mobile phones. The case remains under investigation, with the public prosecutor having requested a judicial magistrate to keep the suspects in custody.
