Belgian Rally Championship announces 2027 structural changes
The Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship will implement significant structural changes starting in 2027. To make the championship more accessible and financially attractive, the distinction between the D1 and D2 classes will be eliminated.
The new format will consist of eight races, with only the six best results counting toward the final standings. This change is intended to provide participants and teams with greater flexibility, allowing them to compete for the title even if they do not complete the full season.
Additionally, Hankook has been named the official tire partner for the RC2, RC3, and RC4 classes for a period of three seasons beginning in 2027.
