Belgrade Airport expands summer network to 118 destinations

Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport announced a record summer schedule offering direct flights to 118 destinations, including six long‑haul routes. The expansion follows a record 2025 season when the airport handled 8.9 million passengers and over 89,500 flights. A key addition is the reinstated direct connection to Toronto, marking the airport’s first intercontinental service in years. Eight new routes – Santorini, Riga, Baku, Nizhny Novgorod, Cologne, Pisa, Brač and Seville – also commence, while weekly frequencies to popular Italian, Greek and Spanish summer spots have been increased. The airport, operated by Belgrade Airport under the Vinci Airports network, is simultaneously upgrading passenger experience through faster processing, improved terminal flow and modern technology. Travelers are advised to arrive at least two and a half hours before departure and to plan parking and document checks in advance.
