Belgrade faces widespread power outages today as EDS implements scheduled cuts

Elektrodistribucija Beograd (EDS) released a detailed timetable for planned electricity interruptions across Belgrade and surrounding municipalities on Friday. The schedule lists specific streets and neighborhoods, including Palilula, Zemun, Voždovac, Čukarica, Obrenovac, Lazarevac, Novi Beograd, and Mladenovac, with cut-off times ranging from early morning (08:00) to mid‑afternoon (15:00). For example, Palilula’s Borča area will be without power from 09:00 to 14:00, while Zemun’s Dragana Rakića street faces outages from 08:30 to 12:30. Similar interruptions are slated for dozens of other streets, affecting residential blocks, commercial zones and local infrastructure throughout the city.

The extensive list aims to facilitate maintenance and upgrades on the electrical grid, and residents are advised to prepare for temporary loss of service during the indicated periods.
