Belgrade protesters offer chair to journalist during election celebrations

During live election coverage in Belgrade, a group of young protesters presented RTL reporter Ana Mlinarić with a chair to allow her to rest during her broadcast. The gesture occurred amidst celebrations following the victory of a student list in the Serbian parliamentary elections.

The interaction took place as citizens gathered in the streets and Pionirski Park, a location recently nicknamed ‘Ćacilend’. Protesters had begun removing tents and fences from the park area following Aleksandar Vučić’s acknowledgment of electoral defeat. One protester described the chair as a ‘relic’ while inviting the journalist to sit and rest.
