Belgrade tram and bus routes revised during Karađorđeva street works
From 21 June until 1 September, works on tram tracks and the contact network on Karađorđeva Street will close the street to traffic and alter public‑transport routes in Belgrade, according to the City Transport Secretariat.
Tram lines 2 and 11 will be suspended. A temporary tram line 2L will operate between Pristanište, Dorćol, Vukov spomenik, Trg Slavija and Gospodarska mehana. A temporary bus line 2A will run from Dorćol (SRC “Milan Gale Muškatirović”) through Karađorđeva Street, SAO 9, Bulevar Vudroa Vilsona, and back to Belgrade na vodi.
Bus lines 51, 511, 601 and EKO 2 will be rerouted via Bulevar Vudroa Vilsona, SAO 4, SAO 6, Savski trg and Bulevar kralja Aleksandra I. Existing stops will remain, and new temporary stops “Pristanište 1” (toward Brankov most and Kalemegdan) and “Milorada Ekmečića 1” will be introduced. The temporary stop “Brankov most” for line 2A will be removed.
These adjustments aim to maintain service while the tram infrastructure is upgraded.
