Belgrade to launch bus lines connecting to EXPO 2027 complex

Starting November 1, 2026, four new city bus lines will provide direct connections between various parts of Belgrade and the EXPO 2027 complex in Surčin. The transport network is being established more than six months ahead of the exhibition's opening to prepare for domestic and international visitors.

The initial service will utilize 31 eco-friendly buses to reduce emissions. The planned routes include:

• EKSPO 2: From the Belgrade Waterfront terminal in Savski Venac. • EKSPO 3: From the Zemun (Bačka) terminal. • EKSPO 4: From the Vukov spomenik location. • EKSPO 5: From the Ustanička terminal in Zvezdara.

Buses are expected to run every 15 to 22 minutes depending on the line. The network will expand in 2027, including a line connecting Nikola Tesla Airport to the complex in April, and a total of seven direct lines by May 2027. Additionally, a dedicated line will connect the National Stadium railway station to the EXPO entrance.
