Bello Bodejo rearrested by DSS following EFCC release

Bello Bodejo, the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has reportedly been rearrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja. The arrest occurred immediately after his release from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following the fulfillment of bail conditions set by a Federal High Court.

Bodejo’s wife, Hajiya Hauwa Bodejo, stated that DSS personnel had been stationed near the EFCC headquarters for several hours. She alleged that as the family and legal team were preparing to leave the premises after his release, DSS officials intercepted Bodejo and took him away in three vans.

The sudden detention has raised concerns regarding Bodejo’s health, with his family noting that his condition had already deteriorated during his previous period of custody.
