Bello Mohammed Matawalle rallies Zamfara stakeholders for Tinubu 2027 bid

Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence and former governor of Zamfara State, has met with political stakeholders to discuss security and political mobilization. During an interactive meeting in Kaduna with former Zamfara State House of Assembly members, commissioners, and political associates from his 2019–2023 administration, Matawalle addressed the ongoing issue of banditry.

Matawalle reassured residents affected by criminality that the federal government remains committed to eradicating banditry and restoring peace. He stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is treating insecurity as a national emergency and has focused heavily on securing the nation through domestic and international consultations to strengthen security agencies.

In addition to security discussions, Matawalle urged the attendees to mobilize grassroots support for the ‘Tinubu Again Movement’ to support the President’s re-election bid in 2027. He emphasized that the administration continues to prioritize national unity, economic development, and the protection of lives and property despite political challenges.
