Belo Horizonte and Brusque impose traffic changes for race and football match

In Belo Horizonte, a 10‑kilometre race and walk around the Mercado Central this weekend will disrupt traffic and public transport in the central area. BHTrans has set up six alternative routes, closed sections of Avenida Santa Catarina and Avenida Bias Fortes, and redirected 27 municipal bus lines, advising commuters to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

In Brusque, temporary road closures are scheduled for Monday night ahead of a Serie C football match between Brusque and Figueirense at Arena Simon. The city’s Setram will block a segment of Avenida Bepe Rosa between Elsa Hoffmann and Adolfo Schlosser streets, as well as Nilo Maestri street, beginning about 30 minutes before kickoff. Drivers are urged to use alternative routes until traffic is gradually restored after the game.
