Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman support each other during U.S. Open

Professional athletes Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman have been dating since March 2025. Rodman, a soccer player for the Washington Spirit, has been a frequent supporter of Shelton during his tennis matches at the U.S. Open.

Following Shelton’s quarterfinal victory over Carlos Alcaraz, a video of Rodman’s reaction to Shelton omitting her from his post-match speech went viral. While some speculated she was upset, body language experts suggest her reaction was intended as a joke rather than a sign of genuine dismay.

Rodman has noted that the mental demands of professional sports are a key factor in their relationship, stating that understanding the psychological pressures of high-level competition helps them support one another.
