Benedetta Dito promotes dual apprenticeship scheme for NEETs in Puglia

Benedetta Dito, the regional director of INPS in Puglia, announced the launch of a dual apprenticeship programme aimed at helping NEET (young people not in employment, education or training) enter the labour market. The initiative was presented at the first stop of a national road‑show organised jointly by INPS and the Agenzia delle Entrate, held at the Casillo Group headquarters in Corato.

Dito highlighted that Puglia is the first region to implement this collaboration between public administration and businesses, stressing the goal of providing paid training that allows participants to study while gaining practical experience in companies. She referred to a protocol signed with the Regione Puglia, ARPAL and the regional school office, and expressed hope that the Puglian model could be replicated in other territories.

The programme seeks to strengthen ties of trust and responsibility between public institutions and the private sector, promoting legality, social responsibility and active citizenship while addressing the regional NEET phenomenon.
