Benedetta Rossi and Marco Gentili opt to protect adopted daughters' privacy on social media
Food blogger Benedetta Rossi and her husband, Marco Gentili, have announced their decision to protect the privacy of their two adopted daughters from Costa Rica by not showing them on social media. While the couple intends to share stories about their family's evolution and new life, they stated that they will not post images of the children to ensure their daily lives remain as serene and protected as possible.
This decision prompted television host Caterina Balivo to issue an appeal on the program ‘La volta buona’. Balivo urged parents against overexposing minors online, arguing that publishing children's photos creates a digital identity for them without their consent. She emphasized that parents have a responsibility to protect their children's privacy rather than seeking popularity through their likenesses.
