Benedita da Silva leads Rio de Janeiro Senate poll with 15%

A Quaest poll released on Wednesday, 23, regarding the race for two Senate seats in Rio de Janeiro shows Benedita da Silva (PT) with 15% of the voting intentions. Carlos Jordy (PL) and Carlos Portinho (PL) each follow with 10%.

Other candidates include Marcelo Crivella (Republicanos) at 7% and Pedro Paulo (PSD) at 6%. Monica Benicio (PSOL) holds 4%, while Waguinho (Republicanos) has 3%. When considering only the first choice for the Senate, Benedita da Silva leads with 24%, followed by Carlos Jordy with 13%. Undecided voters account for 21%, while white, null, or non-voting responses also total 21%.
