Benevento Città Spettacolo unveils full program for its 47th edition

The city of Benevento announced the complete lineup for the 47th edition of the Benevento Città Spettacolo festival, scheduled from 25 to 30 August. Confirmed performers include author Maurizio De Giovanni, singer‑songwriter Peppe Servillo, comedian Alessandro Siani, actor Vincenzo Salemme, and musicians Gino Rivieccio, Serena Bortone, and Eugenio Bennato. Youth concerts will feature Dipinto on 25 August in Piazza Roma and Kid Yugigi on 27 August in Piazza Cardinal Pacca, with tickets available via TicketOne and iTicket.

Mayor Clemente Mastella praised the festival’s growth since 2016, noting its national relevance and linking it to broader municipal projects such as a new water‑treatment plant and public‑transport improvements. Cultural assessor Antonella Tartaglia Polcini and foundation president Rossella Del Pretee also addressed the audience before the artistic director Renato Giordano highlighted the festival’s diverse programming and thanked the Province of Benevento for providing venues like the Museo del Sannio and the Rocca dei Rettori.
