Benjamin Nygren addresses Celtic pressure and Champions League disappointment

Celtic midfielder Benjamin Nygren has addressed the growing frustration among supporters following a series of disappointing results for the club. The team recently suffered three consecutive defeats, including two losses to Rangers and a 3-1 loss to Ferencvaros in the Europa League.

Nygren also commented on the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League after a collapse against LASK, marking the second consecutive year the club has missed the tournament. He noted that the disappointment is shared by both players and fans, stating, “Fansen blir så klart lika besvikna som vi” (The fans are of course just as disappointed as we are).

Despite the team's struggles, Nygren has had a productive individual start to the campaign, contributing goals and assists in his opening appearances. He expressed a desire to embrace the high pressure and expectations associated with playing for a major club.
