Karma Automotive unveils luxury EREV lineup at Monterey Car Week
Karma Automotive is presenting an ambitious lineup of luxury vehicles at Monterey Car Week, signaling a strategic focus on extended-range electric vehicles (EREV).
Leading the showcase is the 2027 Karma Gyesera Grand Coupe, a four-seat luxury sedan scheduled for customer deliveries in December 2026. The Gyesera features a hybrid EREV powertrain producing 566 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.7 seconds. It utilizes a 28.1 kWh battery for electric driving, complemented by a thermal engine to extend total range to 579 km.
Other upcoming models include the 2028 Karma Amaris GT, another hybrid EREV, and the 2029 Karma Kaveya Super Coupe, a high-performance battery-electric vehicle expected to deliver over 1,000 horsepower with an estimated price of approximately $400,000. The Gyesera is expected to have a starting price of $139,995.
