Bentley Motors has unveiled the Torcal, its first all-electric production SUV. Designed, engineered, and manufactured at the company’s Crewe headquarters in the UK, the Torcal represents the brand’s fourth model line, joining the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga.

The vehicle is available in two configurations: a standard version and a high-performance S variant. The Torcal S is the most powerful production Bentley to date, delivering up to 888 horsepower and 1,350 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration in 2.9 seconds. The standard model produces 821 horsepower and reaches 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Both versions utilize an 800-volt electrical architecture and a 113 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed WLTP range of up to 600 km. The SUV supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 16 minutes.

Technological features include fully active suspension, four-wheel steering, and the ‘Bentley Dynamic Symphony,’ a synthetic soundscape inspired by a V8 engine using orchestral instruments. The interior emphasizes luxury with materials such as 100% merino wool and features advanced tech like OLED screens and augmented reality head-up displays. Bentley has invested £350 million to prepare its UK production facilities for this transition.
