Bergamo celebrates 105th anniversary of the Alpini Association

Bergamo celebrated the 105th anniversary of the Bergamo section of the Associazione Nazionale Alpini from September 11 to 13, 2026. The event included the 41st sectional assembly and the 2nd Grouping Rally.

The festivities featured ceremonies, commemorative moments, exhibitions, and fanfare performances. The highlight was a parade through the city streets, starting from the ChorusLife area and concluding at the Alpino Monument in Piazza degli Alpini.

Regional Councilor Paolo Franco attended the event representing the Lombardy Region, noting the community's values of solidarity and service. He specifically highlighted the Alpini's role during the pandemic, such as their involvement in constructing the field hospital at the Bergamo Fair.
