Overview

In September 2026, various sections of the Associazione Nazionale Alpini (ANA) held significant commemorative events across Italy.

In Bergamo, the local section celebrated its 105th anniversary with a sectional assembly, a grouping rally, and a parade ending at the Alpino Monument. Regional Councilor Paolo Franco attended, noting the association’s values of solidarity and its historical role in supporting the community during the pandemic.

Shortly after, the city of Pinerolo hosted the 28th gathering of the 1st Raggruppamento of the ANA. This event drew more than 15,000 participants from Piedmont, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta, and France. Celebrations in Pinerolo included a drone light show depicting Alpine history, the granting of honorary citizenship to the local section, and a traditional parade. Due to the large scale of the gathering, medical assistance was provided by Croce Verde Pinerolo through various rescue teams and an Advanced Medical Post.
