Berlin IFA Leaders & Policy Dialogue to Bridge Industry and Politics

The IFA Leaders & Policy Dialogue, a new economic‑policy forum, will be held on 7 September 2026 during the IFA trade fair in Berlin. Organized by GFU Consumer & Home Electronics and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI), the invitation‑only event will bring senior executives from the home‑and‑consumer‑tech sector together with high‑level national and European policymakers.

Participants will discuss how to reduce regulatory complexity, expand and harmonise the EU internal market, and create fair rules for competition with China. The EU internal market, covering over 450 million people and an estimated €20 trillion GDP, is highlighted as a crucial engine for growth and innovation in Europe’s consumer‑technology industry.
