IFA 2026 trade fair in Berlin

Overview

The IFA trade fair in Berlin is set to host a variety of industry-focused events and product showcases in September 2026. A new economic-policy forum, the IFA Leaders & Policy Dialogue, will bring together senior consumer-tech executives and national or European policymakers to address regulatory complexity, the expansion of the EU internal market, and fair competition rules regarding China.

The exhibition, expected to host more than 1,900 exhibitors, will place a significant emphasis on smart homes, artificial intelligence, and automated living. A dedicated ‘Home Appliances’ area will focus on AI-supported cooking, cleaning, and energy-efficient technologies, with major exhibitors including Miele, Bosch, Siemens, Electrolux, and Haier. Technological innovations include DREO’s “DREO Air Intelligence” ecosystem, which uses sensors to autonomously regulate air quality and temperature. AEG is expected to debut the ErgoMini, a 550-gram handheld vacuum, and a 3-in-1 pizza oven capable of preparing food in 2.5 minutes. Additionally, the Chinese company PrimeBOT will showcase its T1 and Q1 personal humanoid robots; the T1 is a transformable model designed for both indoor and outdoor use, serving as an educational companion and camera assistant with an expected US launch price of approximately $5,000.
