Berlin protesters demand Houthi designation as terrorist organization

Members of the Yemeni community in Berlin held a protest calling on the German government, the European Union, and the United Nations to take legal action to designate the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization.

Participants demanded an end to the siege on the city of Taiz, insisting on the full and unconditional opening of all roads to ensure the free movement of citizens and the delivery of food, water, medicine, and fuel. The protesters also called for an immediate halt to missile and drone attacks targeting various Yemeni provinces, including Shabwah, Aden, Marib, and Hadramaut.

The protest statement held the Houthi group responsible for the ongoing conflict and human rights violations, including the forced disappearance of individuals. Furthermore, the demonstrators urged the international community to take effective measures to protect international navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait to safeguard global trade and energy supplies.
