Ghana's NPP begins national officer election nominations

National Chairmanship: Former Chairman Paul Afoko has officially entered the race, pledging to reunite and reorganize the party for the 2028 general elections. Boakye Agyarko has also filed his nomination, stating his bid is an instruction from the grassroots. Meanwhile, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, known as Chairman Wontumi, has withdrawn from the contest, citing his current incarceration and a desire not to burden the party during its rebuilding phase.
