Bernard d’Ormale evicted from Brigitte Bardot’s La Madrague

Bernard d’Ormale, the 85-year-old widower of actress Brigitte Bardot, has been evicted from La Madrague, the iconic residence he shared with the star for 35 years. D’Ormale was also removed from his position as president of the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, a role that has since been assumed by Max Guazzini.

D’Ormale has described the situation as a ‘coup d’état’ carried out by a ‘gang of coup plotters,’ expressing outrage at being forced into a small social housing unit provided by the Saint-Tropez municipality. He further criticized a recent auction of Bardot’s personal belongings, which raised approximately one million euros, stating that the actress would never have accepted such a sale.

Max Guazzini has contested these claims, asserting that La Madrague has belonged to the foundation since 1992 and that Bardot’s legal provisions did not include a right for her husband to remain in the home. Guazzini characterized d’Ormale’s reaction as a ‘pose’ and maintained that the organization is strictly following the actress’s testamentary wishes and French law.
