Bessan and Pluméliau‑Bieuzy host Latin dance events to boost community life

In the southern French town of Bessan, organizers announced the "Latino Pleasures" night for 25 July at the Peupliers Victor Goudou leisure space, featuring DJs, live percussion, food‑trucks and drinks. A pre‑festival dinner is planned for 7 August, followed by the traditional Saint‑Laurent local festival from 8‑12 August, and the 26th Bessan association forum on 6 September.

Meanwhile, in Pluméliau‑Bieuzy, residents Tiphaine Guelorget and dancer Carlos Rojas founded the association Ritmo Pluméliau to teach salsa and bachata. Classes start in September on Tuesday evenings, with a yearly fee of €120. The group aims to animate the village, foster inter‑generational dancing and organize future cultural outings.
