Southern France Latin dance festivals

In mid‑July, organizers in Bessan announced a series of community‑focused Latin events, including the "Latino Pleasures" night on 25 July, a pre‑festival dinner on 7 August, the traditional Saint‑Laurent festival from 8‑12 August, and a local association forum on 6 September. At the same time, residents of Pluméliau‑Bieuzy launched the Ritmo Pluméliau association to teach salsa and bachata, with classes slated to begin in September.

By early August, the Bessan "Latino Pleasures" night had taken place, featuring a municipal leisure centre transformed into a dance floor, live DJ sets, food and drink stalls, and a sizable youth audience despite earlier rain.
