STRAND Festival sees record attendance at Lake Balaton

The STRAND Festival in Zamárdi has achieved record-breaking success, attracting over 94,000 visitors over four days. This represents a more than 30 percent increase in ticket sales compared to the previous year.

During the festival's opening, the ‘Best of Balaton’ program introduced 22 new recommendations. This initiative, organized by Weekend Event Kft., features local businesses, wineries, and culinary sites to promote year-round tourism around Lake Balaton. The program includes various ambassadors and partners such as Visit Balaton 365 to showcase the region's diverse offerings.
