Beverly Hills actress Morgan Stewart's home burglarized

In late July, a wave of burglaries targeting celebrities in upscale southern California was reported. Actress Morgan Stewart disclosed a second break‑in at her Trousdale Estates residence, where thieves stole a rare Hermès Birkin bag and her husband’s luxury watch collection while a security guard was asleep.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department noted similar thefts involving rappers, and other high‑profile victims including actress Gina Torres, Real Housewives star Sutton Stracke, the Hilton family, Lionel Richie and Brad Pitt. Stolen items ranged from designer handbags and jewelry to cash, with total losses estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the LASD West Hollywood Station.
