Beyerdynamic expands gaming lineup with two new wireless headsets

German audio manufacturer Beyerdynamic has expanded its gaming lineup with the introduction of two new wireless headsets: the MMX 100 wireless and the MMX 130 wireless. The products, which are being showcased at Gamescom 2026, utilize different acoustic architectures to serve different player needs.

The MMX 100 wireless features a closed design intended to isolate users from background noise, making it suitable for competitive gaming and high-concentration sessions. It weighs 275 grams, includes velvet ear pads, a removable META VOICE microphone, and offers connectivity via Bluetooth 6.0, a low-latency USB dongle, or a traditional cable. It also features a replaceable battery.

The MMX 130 wireless utilizes an open design to provide a wider, more natural soundstage, which is aimed at immersive experiences such as RPGs and simulations. This model is lighter at 265 grams and is equipped with a 40 mm titanium-coated driver. Both models offer over 80 hours of battery life.

The MMX 100 wireless is scheduled for release in September 2026, while the MMX 130 wireless is expected to follow in October 2026.
