Beyerdynamic unveils Aventho Y wireless headphones at IFA

German audio specialist beyerdynamic has unveiled its new Aventho Y wireless over-ear headphones at the IFA Berlin ShowStoppers event. The model features 45mm dynamic drivers and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology.

Key technical specifications include Bluetooth 6.0 with Multipoint support and a battery life of up to 90 hours when ANC is disabled. A fast-charging feature allows for six hours of playback from a five-minute charge. The device is designed with sustainability in mind, offering replaceable ear cushions and a user-replaceable battery.

For users seeking versatility, an optional upgrade package including a USB-C dongle and a color-matched boom microphone will be available starting in October 2025, allowing the headphones to function as a gaming headset. The Aventho Y is currently available at a recommended retail price of €149.
