Beyerdynamic unveils MMX 100 and MMX 130 wireless gaming headsets
German manufacturer beyerdynamic has introduced two new wireless gaming headsets, the MMX 100 and MMX 130, at Gamescom 2026. The models offer different acoustic philosophies: the MMX 100 features a closed-back design for noise isolation, while the MMX 130 utilizes an open-back architecture to provide a wider, more immersive soundstage.
Both headsets are equipped with 40 mm titanium-coated transducers and offer over 80 hours of battery life. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.0, a low-latency USB-C dongle, and 3.5 mm wired connections, making them compatible with PCs, consoles, and mobile devices. They also feature the detachable META VOICE microphone.
The MMX 100 is priced at 99 euros and is expected to be available on September 1st. The MMX 130 is priced at 129 euros with a scheduled release in October. The MMX 130 received a ‘Best of Gamescom 2026’ award from TechRadar.
